Pleasure in the job puts perfection in the work.

I am very sorry.. I did 3 posts they disappeared. Here is why:

Work really picked up.. I work at Supercuts.. and we lost 3 girls.. One to a busier salon in our franchise but a few hours away, another decided on a whim to follow her dreams and go to germany and become a full time artist, and lastly one needed a salon closer to home and with more set hours so she can spend more time with her family..

all really great and important reasons to leave.. but this left us very short staffed.. We did some 6 day work weeks.. way longer shifts.. and non stop hair styling. I made awesome tips.. so i cant complain too much…. But with all that greatness being said.. All that hair cutting Kills my wrists. So It means i can’t type. Typing aggrivates it even more.. Now we are almost back to normal shifts by having a slower closer by salon to fill in.. my wrist pain has gone down.

My goal is to post every Monday with a once in a while post on Fridays. I want to write about Hair, Weightloss, Food and Daily life. I have a few ideas started to really get things going.. esp now that i have more time.. Once i get back to my regular 35 hours a week I can do more postings.. but until then Monday’s will be my big day!

Behind every strong daughter is a truly amazing dad.-Anonymous
Bull Shit.. A strong woman is independent, knows who she is, accomplishes her goals, relies on no one, and can overcome any obstacle thrown in her way…. By Jenna Bognar…yes she does porn.. but i like the quote and it fits lol

Do you guys have a great relationship with your parents? I don’t really think i do any more.. I think my mom is trying to improve things.. but I dont feel that my dad gives a crap. EXAMPLE:
1. We fought with me on Xmas Threatening to punch me in the face because I told him I’d rather go on Vacation with my husband over Xmas/Thanksgiving instead of going to my Grandmother’s House.
2. He suggested I use a turkey baster to deal with infertility issues and that my husband should fucking grow some balls. (i still have the text)
3. I saw him at Mcdonald’s with my two aunts and nephew and i walked up and gave him a kiss hello (im a hugger and kisser) and he didnt return it.

I really want that close supportive family feel but I cant get that from him. My husband told me to just let it go and move on.. But there is something about having approval from your parents that really makes you feel good about yourself.

I’ve invited him and my mother over to my hours for YEARS for dinner.. and My Mom always tells me “your father isnt interested”

I dont really have “daddy issues” I am disappointed in the lack of parental support i have in my life. Never had it.. never will. I’ve accomplished a lot on my own. With VERY little support of help from my dad. I have a pretty supportive husband.. thou hes not good at dealing with stressful situations.. he does okay when i need a boost to keep trying.

I try to be a good aunt to my nieces and nephews. I have 6.. Three on my side 3 on bobs.. I spend tons of time with the 3 on my side but I’ve never had a relationship with my husband’s sister’s family. I feel kind of bad about that.. My Sis-In-Law and her husband live in Japan. They have 3 kids.. 2 teenage girls and a little boy. All three seem pretty awesome (YES I STALK THEM ON FACEBOOK) I am hoping to have a better relationship with them when they move back to the US.. i dont think i’ve ever been in the same time zone as them.. both them and my husband are ex military!

Well i had a hair product I wanted to tell you about but i cannot reach the website its on to get offical product description… So i will add it next time.

Have a great night

Top 5 Fave Books (in no particular order)

  1. The Night Circus by Erin Morgenstern
    •  The circus arrives without warning. No announcements precede it. It is simply there, when yesterday it was not. Within the black-and-white striped canvas tents is an utterly unique experience full of breathtaking amazements. It is called Le Cirque des Rêves, and it is only open at night.
  2. And Then There Were None by Agatha Christie (fyi im obsessed with all her books)
    • Ten people, each with something to hide and something to fear, are invited to a lonely mansion on Indian Island by a host who, surprisingly, fails to appear. On the island they are cut off from everything but each other and the inescapable shadows of their own past lives. One by one, the guests share the darkest secrets of their wicked pasts. And one by one, they die
  3. The Ocean at the End of the Lane By Neil Gaiman
    • This bewitching and harrowing tale of mystery and survival, and memory and magic, makes the impossible all too real…

  4. Anne of Green Gables by Lucy Maud Montgomery
    • I HAVE READ the ENTIRE SERIES.. All 8 Books.  But my faves will always be the Anne of Green Gables & Anne of Avonlea
    • Marilla Cuthbert and Matthew Cuthbert, middle-aged siblings who live together at Green Gables, a farm in Avonlea, on Prince Edward Island, decide to adopt a boy from an orphan asylum in Nova Scotia as a helper on their farm. Through a series of mishaps, the person who ends up under their roof is a precocious girl of eleven named Anne Shirley. Anne is bright and quick, eager to please but dissatisfied with her name, her pale countenance dotted with freckles, and with her long braids of red hair. Being a child of imagination, however, Anne takes much joy in life, and adapts quickly, thriving in the environment of Prince Edward Island.
  5. The Secret Garden by Frances Hodgson Burnett
    • When spoiled child Mary Lennox loses her family to a cholera outbreak, she moves to her uncle’s manor surrounded by a massive garden. Within, Mary discovers a whole new outlook on life thanks to a supportive household and the garden’s power of healing.
